Ivana Kirkbride

Ivana Kirkbride is the Head of Unscripted a Vessel where she oversees unscripted development, programming and production involving top creators for YouTube Originals. Previously she led the YouTube Content Accelerator which proved out the model for YT Originals with RocketJump’s Video Game High School Season 3. Prior, she led global content investments and investment strategy at YouTube. Earlier at YouTube, Ivana oversaw global content strategy for entertainment and had also led the Pop Culture vertical for Original Programming in the US where she oversaw the launch of over 25 original channels such as WIGS, Awesomeness TV, The Nerdist, SourceFed, Young Hollywood and more. Prior to YouTube, Ivana was the founder and CEO of The New Media Advisory Group, where she worked with content creators to identify and monetize cross-platform properties, such as the popular blog Awkward Family Photos. Before founding The New Media Advisory Group, Ivana was partner and President of New Media at Generate, a next-generation media company, where she led the development and acquisition of new media properties, the build out of Generate’s distribution networks and secured their Series A financing. Previously, Ivana spent five years in venture capital at ABS Capital Partners and Advent International’s Digital Media and Communications Fund investing over $100 million in emerging technology companies. Ivana holds a bachelor’s degree in science with a concentration in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
