Ingrid Van Den Hoogen Burton

Ingrid Burton serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Hortonworks. She brings over 25 years of marketing experience and innovation to her role as Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, Ingrid was SVP of Innovation and Technology Marketing at SAP where she headed up a vast portfolio of data and analytics products and technologies, SAP HANA platform and developer marketing. Prior to that, she was chief marketing officer at both Silver Spring Networks and Plantronics, and had over 15 years of senior marketing roles at Sun Microsystems which included driving Java and developer marketing. Early in her career she held software development roles at GTE, Megatek and United Technologies. Ingrid has a bachelor's degree in Math with a concentration in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
