Telent Pensions Office provides dedicated pension administration for Telent PLC. The staff are principally involved in the day-to-day running of the G.E.C. 1972 Plan - the occupational pension scheme available to most Telent permanent employees in the UK.Approximately 3% of their assets are devoted to alternative investments in Fund of Funds. They make investments off-shore in multi-strat FoF's with global exposure and wide array of sectors. Since they are a pension they do not need to see any strict liquidity requirements and are comfortable with lock-ups.They have return expectations of around 10% and will consider a moderate level of volatility in order to achieve those returns. A long and distinguished track record of at least 3-5 years is required and the Fund of Fund must have at least 100 Million Sterling in assets.
