Mr. Hans van den Berg serves as a Managing Partner Benchmark Partners Ltd. & cayla consulting (Switzerland) Ltd. He has been managing the sale of a U.S. group of companies. He has been active in the field of private equity for 19 years. Mr. van den Berg has 20 years of experience in management functions with ABB (Europa, Asien). He has experience in portfolio management, deal structuring, fundraising, corporate finance, and merger and acquisitions mandates. He also has experience in special situations: Focus Energy, Cleantech. He has been a board member for several companies. Mr. van den Berg has been the President of the Board and Director of New Value AG since April 27, 2012. He served a a Board Member of SECA (Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association) and EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association). He holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft.
