Broadbent received a BSc degree 1st Class with Honors in Chemistry & Polymer Science from Loughborough University, England. He is also active in philanthropic ventures involving Christopher's Haven - a "home away from home" for kids with cancer being treated at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
