North River Capital LLC is a privately-held equity capital firm established to acquire or invest in companies that demonstrate potential for long-term strategic growth and opportunities for significant value appreciation. North River was founded in the summer of 2008 by members of the Rifkin family and other former executives of OmniSource Corporation following the sale of OmniSource to Steel Dynamics, Inc., in 2007. Unlike many private equity firms, North River Capital partners invest only their own capital.
