As Executive Director of Softbank Latin America ($150 MM Softbank venture capital fund in 5 countries) & Head of the Miami office, I led investments in mobile and tech, and served on the Board of 5 portfolio companies.
Before Softbank, I co-founded an Internet incubator in South Florida and was part of founding team that raised capital for Structured Intelligence, a venture-backed roll-up of tech companies in Latin America.
While General Manager and CTO of GBM Corp/IBM Central America, a LBO of 8 IBM operations, pioneered several new lines of business: telecommunications, Internet, and payments. Founded GBnet, later acquired by BT.
In IBM Corporation (South Cone Latam) created the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division and held systems engineering roles, as well as in Hewlett-Packard.
