Francois Mazoudier

Francois Mazoudier is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at TLC since September 2013. With 20 years+ experience in building TMT companies, early stage Venture Capital and M&A, 2 successful IPOs, 1 total failure and over 2,000 startup business plans, Francois brings a rich, balanced view of the good, the bad and the ugly world of building successful exits in Tech. Francois spent half of his career in operational roles, building tech businesses from product management to customer services to sales and marketing and senior management functions. Companies include Central Point Software (sold to Symantec - Product Marketing), PictureTel (Videoconferencing, Channel Marketing, Business Development - IPO, now Polycom, The Cloud (largest WiFi operator network in Europe, sold to SKY CORP - Marketing Head) and RealNetworks (startup to IPO – Marketing, EMEA founding team). Francois spent the second part of his career in Private Equity. Francois was the Co-Founder of Speed Ventures, a $90m seed stage Venture Capital firm backed by Soros Partners and Permira (sold to Ledstiernan AB), then helped VC funds with operational and turnaround work with some underperforming investments before setting up EQUATE, a specialist advisory firm helping TMT firms with operational growth and funding and their shareholders with strategic advisory and transactions.
