Floris van

Floris van Alkemade has been active since 1998 as an entrepreneurial investor in IT companies. From 1998 to 2008 he was a General Partner at NeSBIC CTe funds, EUR 210M value added venture capital funds have invested in 38 early stage technology companies in Europe and the United States. In 2000, Floris has operations NeSBIC CTe funds in Silicon Valley. In late 2005 Floris has been set up to invest in Dutch ICT companies. Along with Robert Wilhelm and Herman deLatte Solid Ventures In addition, several startups Floris help establish that he also coaches as a business angel. Before Floris in venture capital, he worked at Unisource NV, a pan-European telecommunications company, the investment bank Mees Pierson NV and the consulting firm Andersson Elffers Felix BV. He has a Masters Degree in Business Econometrics from the Free University in Amsterdam. Floris is actively involved as a coach and commissioner for several companies including Layar and BoosterMedia and he is director of TSOC .
