Ethan Dysert

Ethan Dysert is a Junior at Cornell University studying applied economic and management. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Ethan has had a lifelong passion for soccer and has won multiple championships. He is currently playing on the club team at Cornell. Ethan has interned at multiple financial advisor companies, where he gained exposure to value investing, venture capital, commodities, and more. He is certified in Bloomberg’s training program and is also a junior analyst in Chi Capital, a campus investment club. He is interested in both the logistical and personal aspects of finance and focuses on strategy and consulting so that he can directly help people make the most of their futures. Ethan also interned at crowdfunding startup Tunetap, where he combined his love for music with his business savvy in order to help develop and streamline the company’s operations. Although he is a fan of rap specifically, he is open to everything and is always looking for the next big thing in music. Ethan is a brother in the Psi Upsilon Fraternity, where he previously served as philanthropy chair from 2014-2015. He is a member of Cornell’s American Indian Program and is also a campus ambassador for numerous organizations, such as Whatsgoodly Inc. and Skedaddle. In his spare time Ethan enjoys reading newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. He also reads many books about entrepreneurship and self-improvement, and his favorite book is The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg. He is also a fan of video games and grew up playing the FIFA series.
