Douglas Curling serves as a Managing Principal at New Kent Capital. He also is an Angel Investor. He is a Board Member at Aaron's. He also serves as Board Member at CoreLogic. In addition, Curling served as Vice President and Assistant Corporate Controller of Equifax from 1989 to 1993, and previously held positions with RJR Nabisco and Ernst & Young. He also serves as a Board Member & Advisor at Capre Data. He is the Founder of New Kent Capital and is also a Managing Principal at New Kent Consulting, a business advisory firm comprised of former ChoicePoint executives that works with public and private corporations and private equity firms - providing fee based/equity based governance, business development, data acquisition, privacy, FCRA and operational consulting services. Doug is the retired President, COO and Director of ChoicePoint Inc, a NYSE technology company acquired by Reed-Elsevier in late 2008 for more than $4 Billion. Prior to ChoicePoint, Doug held a variety of finance and technology management positions with Equifax, RJR Nabisco, Del Monte and Ernst & Young. Curling served on the Board of CoreLogic (NYSE:CLGX) and a number of private company Boards/Advisory Boards including Social Intelligence, Teach Privacy, Vehcon, and kidslink. Additionally, Doug is active in the non-profit community and serves on Boards/Advisory Boards for GivingPoint, The Cottage School, Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business and The Virginia Tech Foundation. He is a frequent speaker on leadership, entrepreneurship and privacy. Doug is a graduate of Virginia Tech (BS - Accounting, MS - Accounting) and is a CPA.
