Denis Sokol is the founder and CEO of iSocket Systems. He has been an entrepreneur during his entire career and invested in his own software and hardware start-ups. His first IT company – BizHost - focused on providing cloud services, co-location and other web-hosting solutions that he discovered during his studies at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation in 2001.
He graduated as an Electronics Engineer in 2002. Denis was the CEO of BizHost until 2008 and then started his entrepreneurial activity with INTERVIPNET, providing server maintenance and IT consulting services. Denis received his second higher education qualification at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, gaining a master degree in Industrial Management in 2012. In 2010 he started the iSocket project and introduced a new term – smart plug – to the world. This project received positive feedback from customers. In line with his education, Denis continues to focus his career on cellular solutions for smart homes and industry.
