Deborah Repak

Deborah Repak, Managing Director and General Manager of the Products group, has been part of First Rate since its inception. She initially worked as a part-time consultant and then became the second full-time employee in May of 1992. As the General Manager, her responsibilities include leading the technical team in all product research and development initiatives and working directly with sales and marketing to drive business line growth. As a Managing Director, she is directly involved in the overall strategic direction of the company. Repak has contributed to the evolution of the First Rate product line over the years with the help of a talented team of individuals. As a technical manager, she has also contributed to all aspects of product development and continues to participate in project management, research, development and identifying performance measurement trends. As a business line owner, she is responsible for the financial growth and health of the Products group. Prior to working at First Rate, Repak worked at National FSI in the investment performance systems department. She began at National FSI in 1984 as a software developer and then moved on to become the manager of programming. During this time, she contributed to the design and development of the first PC-based performance measurement product, trained clients, and led several bank implementations. Repak is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in quantitative analysis and computer science. She has an MBA in finance from the University of North Texas and also earned an Associate’s degree in culinary arts from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. She has one daughter, enjoys traveling and using her culinary arts training to entertain friends and family.
