Founded in 1997, Peachtree Equity Partners is a $110 million, Atlanta-based private equity fund formed to acquire the private equity portfolio of legacy Wachovia Corporation, and to make investments in profitable, middle-market companies located primarily in the Southeast. Peachtree pursues structured equity investments in established, profitable companies with at least $20 million of revenue and a minimum of $3 million of operating income and an EBITDA of $2 million - $10 million. A typical investment will range from $3 million to $10 million and can be in the form of debt, equity or a combination of both. Peachtree seeks an equity position of 20%-49%.
