Daphna Cohen-Gersht joined Pitango in 2001.Daphna is responsible for monitoring the progress and the financial position of the portfolio companies. In addition, she follows all changes in the equity holdings and legal rights of the Fund in each company.
Daphna is also in charge of all of Pitango's legal matters relating to the portfolio companies and investment transactions, from the outset of the deal to its conclusion.
Prior to joining Pitango, Daphna was legal counsel to Poalim Capital Markets, a subsidiary and the investment arm of Bank HaPoalim, and she practiced corporate finance and securities with Ne'eman, Ben Artzi & Co., a law firm in Tel Aviv. Daphna has an L.L.B. from the Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. from Derby University.
