Danny Way

Danny Way is a Co- Founder and serves as Board Member at Valhalla Private Capital. Danny Way serves as the President of Viridis Group. He obtained a BSc in Software Engineering from University of Calgary in 2005. Heholds an Engineering degree from the University of Calgary and has focused his career on sustainability in the energy industry. Through Management Systems, he helps companies improve their operations, health and safety performance, and reduce environmental impacts. Most recently he managed Deloitte's Sustainability practice in Alberta where he and his team helped clients understand the relationship between energy, emissions, risk and company value. Danny is experienced with operational risk assessment (including energy risk, emissions & environmental risk, water risk) and strategy development for risk avoidance. He has helped some of Alberta's leading Oil and Gas companies with development, implementation and assurance of Managements Syste Danny has also assisted leading Alberta Energy companies with overall Governance and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Danny is experienced in energy projects including SAGD, conventional oil and natural gas, energy and emission strategies, water risk assessments, solar integration planning, wind power forecasting, wind power impact studies, project feasibility studies, electricity market analysis, and a variety of Smart Grid projects. He is also an Angel Investor.
