Dan Wensley

Dan Wensley serves as the President at Passportal. is an accomplished and successful sales and marketing professional with over 20 years in senior and executive roles in the IT Services Channel. In 2005 he was named one of the 12 people to watch by CRN. Since then has been inducted into the MSP Hall of Fame, been named to the Top 100 Industry Leaders in the Know by CRN Magazine, Top 250 by SMB Nation, and named a North American Channel Chief by Everything Channel for 9 consecutive years, along with receiving numerous industry recognitions and awards for marketing. As an author, keynote speaker, and panel participant, Dan actively contributes to numerous advisory groups and major industry and vendor events. Dan is an Institute for Partner Education and Development (IPED) 2005 Channel Masters Program alumnus. Dan has been a member of CompTIA for 15 years and served on the Board of Directors for a three year term, while also chairing numerous subcommittees. Dan was also the founding co-chair of the Managed Services Executive Council and currently sits on the Cloud EC. His career has included executive leadership roles with Level Platforms, MSP Partners, Net Integration Technologies, and MCI WorldCom Canada. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Level Platforms, Dan lead the development of the company's brand and market success, establishing them as a leader in the managed services industry. Level Platforms was recognized for 2 straight years as the 3rd fastest growing technology company in Canada by Deloitte, and spent a third year on the fast 50 list. While at Level Platforms, Dan founded MSP Partners, an award winning marketing and education association supported by Intel, Microsoft and Ingram Micro along with 30 other vendors and grew to over 5,000 MSP Members. The growth and success of these organizations is well known in the industry and led to, Net Integrations being purchased by IBM in 2003, MSP Partners was purchased by CompTIA in 2009 and Level Platforms was purchased by AVG in 2013. In 2014, he joined Passportal as an investor and advisor working with the Founder Colin Knox to map and build the companies future development and growth plans. In November of 2015 he joined Passportal full time as President. Since then the company has grown from a team of 6 to what it is today with 20 employees, over 1,000 partners in 32 countries, with distribution and integration partnerships with Autotask, ConnectWise and others.
