Dan Shapiro

Dan Shapiro is an Angel Investor. He is a Co-Founder of Glowforge and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is the Founder of Robot Turtles and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Dan is also the Founder and C.E.O of Sparkbuy Inc, a comparison shopping website. Prior to Sparkbuy he had founded Ontela and served as it Chief Executive Officer. Dan sold his last company to Google. His last side project was Robot Turtles, the best-selling board game in Kickstarter history. He builds drones, authored Hot Seat: The Startup CEO Guidebook. He has been awarded seven patents, and received his B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
