Damien A.

Damien joined BIA Digital Partners in 2002. Previously, he was with Banc of America Securities, advising a diverse range of sports, media and entertainment companies on capital raising, M&A and other strategic initiatives. Damien focuses on building investment opportunities through partnering with entrepreneurs and founders of growth companies. Special areas of Damien�s focus include performance-based marketing and digital media, SaaS and technology-enabled services companies. He represents BIA DP on the Boards of Cooking.com, Total Attorneys and Vantage Media and works closely with other BIA DP investments in Cross MediaWorks, Eyewonder, Hibernia Atlantic, Manifest Digital, and The Motley Fool. Damien also functions as Director of Underwriting, coordinating the internal investment process for new investments considered by BIA DP. Prior to joining BIA, Damien worked in the sports finance and advisory group of Banc of America Securities' corporate and investment banking department where he participated in M&A transactions as well as capital raising and private placements. Damien received a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from Ithaca College. Outside of work, Damien's time is dedicated to his wife and two young children and interests include; technology and the Internet, the outdoors and an eclectic collection of music.
