Charles Yin serves as Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk. He has served clients in the financial and securities industries for more than 13 years and has substantial Big Four accounting firm experience. Charles has led numerous audit and advisory projects for NASDAQ- and NYSE-listed Chinese companies and is conversant with the many challenges facing SEC registrants. His technical skills and experience in statutory, IPO and internal control audits and financial due diligence-and knowledge of the financial operations of large state-owned and private enterprises in more than 10 industries-has allowed him to help numerous companies go public in the PRC, Hong Kong and the United States. Prior to joining Marcum BP, he worked at PwC and Arthur Andersen. Charles has been able to lead teams of professionals in different service lines to create significant value for clients. He has a full understanding of China and U.S. accounting standards, the listing processes in overseas and domestic stock exchanges, related governmental requirements, and risk identification in project management. His experience spans listing plan consulting, M&A, anti-fraud investigation, and internal control design and implementation. An active contributor at industry seminars, Charles continually works to share and heighten his knowledge of successful IPOs. He earned a B.A. in accounting from Sun Yat-Sen University and speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
