Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., LLC (BRS) is a New York-based private equity investment firm with approximately $1.4 billion in funds under management. Founded in 1995 by former senior executives of Citicorp Venture Capital, BRS specializes in management buyouts and recapitalizations of high quality, middle market companies with strong market positions and/or growth potential. Broad sectors in which BRS invests include: consumer and commercial products and services; restaurants; and specialty retail. BRS primarily makes control investments in leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations of companies with significant operations in the United States and enterprise values of between $50 million and $250 million. These companies may be private, public or divisions of public companies.
