Bernhard Vogeli

Bernhard is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Evolution Equity Partners. He works across all aspects of the firm’s operations. He oversees portfolio management, fund management, investor relations, resource allocation, recruiting, finance, legal and HR. Prior to joining Evolution, Bernhard was a Principal at Alpha Associates, a venture capital and private equity firm. In his role as Head of Operations, Bernhard developed the infrastructure and implemented processes to scale the company and eventually manage over USD 3 billion in capital. During his 6 year tenure at Alpha, he was also responsible for cash flow planning as well as the analysis and due diligence of investments. Previously, Bernhard held senior investment management roles at Adveq, a private equity asset manager where he was responsible for the due diligence of venture funds in the US and Israel. Previously, Bernhard held several operating roles at Nantero, a Boston based Semiconductor Company and is the founder of EpiSpeed AG a Switzerland based Semiconductor Company. Bernhard holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ) and worked in research and development in Switzerland, Japan (Hitachi) and the US (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He holds an MBA from the W. E. Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester and is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
