Benjamin Horowitz is a Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He serves as Board Member at Lyft. He also serves as a Board Member at United Masters, Sisu, TripActions, Okta and Magnet Syste He was a co-founder and CEO of Opsware (formerly Loudcloud), which was acquired by HP in 2007 and was appointed vice president and general manager of Business Technology Optimization for Software at HP. Earlier, he was vice president and general manager of America Online's E-commerce Platform division. Previously, he ran several product divisions at Netscape Communications. He also served as vice president of Netscape's widely acclaimed Directory and Security product line. Before joining Netscape in July 1995, he held various senior product marketing positions at Lotus Development Corporation. He also serves as Board Observer at Gainspeed. He has a BA in Computer Science from Columbia University and an MS in Computer Science from UCLA. He serves on the board of many companies including Foursquare, SnapLogic,Tidemark Systems and Databricks, Jawbone, Lytro, Magnet Systems, Nicira, 3dna, Tidemark, Medium Corporation and SignalFuse. He is also a Co-Founder of Usermind. He also serves as Advisor at A.Capital Ventures. He also served as an Advisor at Barefoot Networks.
