Benjamin Black

Benjamin Black is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Akkadian Ventures. He is an Angel Investor. Black was a Co-Founder & served as General Partner at New Cycle Capital. He served as Advisor at Core Innovation Capital. He was previously on the investment teams at Maveron, a consumer-focused venture capital firm, the Chairman of Starbucks, and Rosewood Capital, a consumer-focused private equity firm. As an entrepreneur, he was Vice President of Corporate Development for Harris Interactive. By training, Black is an attorney and worked at Latham & Watkins after clerking on the Federal Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 1997. Black earned both his Bachelors of Arts and his Juris Doctor degrees at Cornell University.
