Anthony Broglio serves as Co-Founding Partner at Insignia Capital Group. He is an Angel Investor. He brings over 17 years of investment, strategic and operational experience across the business services, consumer and healthcare sectors to Insignia's leadership team. Tony serves as a Director on the Board of Truco Enterprises, as Board Member at WillowTree and as Chairman of the Board of metanexgen. Prior to Insignia, he was a Principal and member of the Executive Committee of Lake Capital, a successful Chicago-based private equity fund with over $1.3 billion under management. At Lake, he was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, structuring transactions, managing due diligence, negotiating transactions and financing agreements, and working with portfolio company management teams to execute organic growth strategies, add-on acquisitions and leadership team development initiatives. During his more than nine years with Lake, Tony played a leading role in a number of the firm's investments, including Empower Software Solutions, Hudson Energy Services, Hyper Marketing (fka SolutionSet), intraFUSION, ORC International, Respond2 Communications, Soil Safe, Vestcom, VFM Leonardo and Viamedia. He served as a Director at twelve of Lake's portfolio companies during his tenure with the firm. Prior to Lake, he spent five years in merchant and investment banking with FMI Capital and Hanifen, Imhoff executing private and public equity and debt offerings and merger and acquisition transactions across a number of industries. Tony received a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
