Alexander Shelkovnikov

Dr. Alexander Shelkovnikov is a Co-Founder of Semantic Ventures. He is an angel investor. He served as Head of Corporate Venturing & Blockchain Lead at Deloitte. He runs investments for Deloitte Ventures where his focus is on supporting early stage technology companies on their journey to success. He also runs Deloitte's Blockchain team in the UK. He co-founded the Deloitte Blockchain Lab and is part of the Deloitte's global blockchain leadership team. Prior to that he worked in strategy consulting at Monitor Deloitte where he advised some of the largest companies in technology, media, telecoms and digital payments across the globe as well as start-ups, focussing on helping them launch digital businesses, development of digital propositions, growth, commercial strategy and M&A. He completed his PhD in Electronic Engineering. In addition, Alexander is one of the founding members of Bitcoin Foundation Ukraine (BFU).
