Vintage Capital Group is an investment firm founded in 2000 by successful business executive and investor, Mr. Fred C. Sands. After establishing and successfully building Fred Sands Realtors into one of the largest real estate and financial services firms in the United States (7th largest), Mr. Sands successfully exited this business in a merger with Coldwell Banker and formed Vintage Capital Group. With a capital base in excess of $150 million available to deploy, Vintage Capital Group's investment strategy is to opportunistically invest in a wide variety of businesses and industries, with particular expertise in turnarounds of distressed companies, bankruptcies or other special situations. Investments may include the purchase of debt securities or direct investments of equity either on a control or minority equity basis. Vintage will also consider providing bridge financings as well as sale leaseback transactions. Vintage will typically invest capital ranging from $1 million to in excess of $20 million. Vintage Fund Management, a separate unit, is a private investment fund comprised of large institutional investors as well as high net worth individuals, partners with experienced builders of established lower middle market businesses through structured growth equity investments. VFM typically invests between $5 million and $20 million to support companies with revenues up to $250 million (and sustainable EBITDA greater than $3 million).
