University of Idaho Foundation (UI Foundation) manages an endowment fund which is based in Moscow, Idaho. Established in 1970, the foundation's sole purpose is to support the University of Idaho by the means at its disposal with an emphasis on soliciting financial support for the university and managing and investing the securities. The mission of the foundation is to inspire, manage and distribute private support to enhance University of Idaho. A Consolidated Investment Trust (CIT) was created to provide a well-managed, diversified investment vehicle owned entirely by endowments which benefit the University of Idaho. The endowment is managed by the executive management team.The University of Idaho Foundation's investment portfolio is valued at over $348.88 million, with investments in domestic and international equity, real estate, fixed income, and private equity and cash.
