University of Colorado Foundation (CU Foundation) manages an endowment fund of University of Colorado which is based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1967, the foundation enables donors to advance the mission of the University of Colorado. The foundation's Long Term Investment Pool (LTIP) includes the majority of foundation endowments invested for the benefit of the University of Colorado. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of directors.
