Teachers' Pension Plan is a public pension fund based in Victoria, Canada. The plan provides retirement, disability, and death benefits to eligible participants and their beneficiaries. Members include all certified teachers, principals, vice-principals, superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors of instruction, associated professionals and certified professionals who are appointed by a board of education in the British Columbia public school system. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the board of trustees. The board oversees the management of plan assets through its investment management agent, the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC).
