South Carolina State is a university non-endowment based in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Established in 1896, the university is a historically Black public 1890 land-grant senior comprehensive institution. The University is committed to providing affordable and accessible quality baccalaureate programs in the areas of business, applied professional sciences, mathematics, natural sciences, engineering, engineering technology, education, arts, and humanities.
