Public Institute for Social Security - Kuwait

Public Institute for Social Security - Kuwait (PIFSS- Kuwait) is a public pension fund based in Safat, Kuwait. Established in 1955, the fund provides old-age insurance and disability, illness and death benefit for civilian workers in the government sector. The social security system currently in force in Kuwait covers all citizens who are active within the community regardless of their occupation. It includes government officials from civilian and military, followed by a separate law for pensions and retirement benefits for the military. The assets of the fund are managed by the executive management team.
