Overland Park Fire Department Retirement Plan (OPFDRP) is a single-employer defined benefit public pension fund based in Overland Park, Kansas. Established in 1969, the primary purpose of the plan is to provide retirement, disability, and death benefits to certain employees of the employer who become members of the plan and qualify for retirement benefits in accordance with the terms and provisions of the plan. The plan also provides disability and survivor benefits to its members. The assets of the plan are managed and governed by the board of directors.
