Mistra is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Stockholm, Sweden. Established in 1994, Mistra plays an active part in meeting major challenges associated with the environment, human use of natural resources and the impact on the surroundings, by investing in the kind of research that helps to bring about sustainable development of society. The foundation is administered by the board of directors.Mistra's investment portfolio is valued at SEK3.4 billion, with investments in fixed income, domestic and international equity, alternatives and cash.
