MicroVest Capital Management

MicroVest Capital Management is a financial institution established in 2003 and based in Bethesda, Maryland. The firm provides private debt and equity capital to financial institutions that serve micro, small and medium-sized businesses. MicroVest invests capital in under-banked markets and provide access to financial services for rising middle-class communities. The firm manages a family of funds that seek to provide private capital to financial institutions that in turn make loans to entrepreneurs in developing communities. MicroVest is also an investment adviser, owned by three nonprofit institutions which are CARE, MEDA, and the Cordes Foundation.
