Imagine Monroe

Imagine Monroe (County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency) is an economic development agency based in Rochester, New York. Established in 1972, COMIDA was created under Article 18A of the General Municipal Law of New York State with the express goal of creating and retaining jobs for the purpose of reducing unemployment and economic deterioration throughout the Monroe County. Imagine Monroe goals also include protecting and promoting the health of Monroe County residents and increasing commerce by supporting the development of recreational facilities aimed at attracting tourists to visit Monroe County from outside of the area. The assets of the agency are managed by the board of directors.Imagine Monroe is currently not investing in private equity or venture capital.
