Founded in 2009, Forsyth Capital Investors is a $100 million fund that focuses on investing in small- to middle-market companies that have EBITDA in the range of $5 million to $10 million. The firm will be making equity investments of $10 million to $30 million for majority ownership positions. Target industries include manufacturing, business services, distribution, automation, financial services/insurance and healthcare services and administration. The firm pursues a 'hybrid' investment approach that offers more value creation capabilities through operational improvements and strategy development and relies less on 'maxing out' financial leverage to produce returns.
