Since creating its first private equity fund in Western Europe in 1993, CEA now manages a worldwide family of funds with over $1.15 billion under management. Communications Equity Associates has completed over 900 transactions valued at more than $40 billion. All of the firm's funds focus on growth and late stage companies in the media and entertainment, and communications industries. CEA also owns a general partnership interest in GMT Communications Partners II, LP, a London-based private equity fund with over EURO350 million in committed capital.
