Cisco Systems Foundation

Cisco Systems Foundation (Cisco Foundation) is a company sponsored foundation based in San Jose, California. Established in 1997 as a gift from Cisco, it makes strategic grants to programs with long lasting impact on a local, national and global scale. The foundation supports Cisco's efforts to team with NPO/NGO organizations around the world to develop technology based solutions focused on critical human needs, access to education and economic empowerment. Cisco foundation board is governed by a group of nine members who provide guidance to Cisco's philanthropic investments.
