Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison wis a law firm based in California.
Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison was formed in 1926 and by 1980 the firm’s services were sought by many blue chip companies. The firm was a specialist in technology startups in the 1990s and represented companies such as Cisco, Nike and Nokia.
By 2000, the firm had reported revenues of US$ 314 million per annum and employed over 1,000 attorneys-at-law.
The firm’s fortunes drastically declined in 2001 as the firm had accepted shares in tech companies to compensate for attorney fees. The equity shares of the attorneys became worthless in the wake of the dot-com crash.
The firm filed for bankruptcy in 2003 and was dissolved in the same year.
