The company markets and sells its products through a network of distributors to private sector analysis laboratories, hospital laboratories, blood banks, and physician office laboratories; food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries; and independent quality control laboratories. It has operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. BioMerieux was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Marcy l’Etoile, France. It is a subsidiary of Institut Mérieux.
