Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BDIO) is an economic development agency based in Brussels, Belgium. Established in 2001, the mission of the agency is to support the private sector in developing and emerging countries, to enable them to gain access to growth and sustainable development with the aim of achieving the millennium development goals. BDIO invests directly in private sector projects and as such makes a structural contribution to the socio-economic growth of those host countries.
