Axel Johnson Inc. (AJI) is a private investment company, founded in 1920, and owned by the Johnson family of Stockholm, Sweden. The firm specializes in energy, water, medical device, and building prodcut sectors. NewtrAx is AJI's greenhouse for new investments. Through NewtrAx, the company invests as minority partners in smaller, founder- and management-driven businesses. AJI owns a majority holding in three portfolio companies-- Sprague Operating Resources LLC, Parkson Corporation and Kinetico Incorporated. The Axel Johnson Group has total revenues from wholly and partly owned businesses of almost $15 billion and over 20,000 employees across more than 25 countries.
