Scripps College Endowment

Scripps College manages an endowment fund based in Claremont, California. The endowment is part of a long term investment pool, made up of gifts to the college. The funds are held in perpetuity and the income generated supports the operating budget of the college, supporting scholarships for students, academic programs and salaries for faculty and staff. Scripps College is an independent, liberal arts college for women with a curriculum offering instruction in the humanities, fine arts and the natural and social sciences. The assets are governed and managed by the Board of Trustees, assisted by the Investment Sub-Committee.Scripps College Endowment's investment portfolio is valued at $375.58 million, with investments in domestic and international equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, and cash.
