New Smyrna Beach Firefighters' Pension Fund

New Smyrna Beach Firefighters Pension Fund is a public pension fund based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The plan provides disability and retirement benefits for the participants of the plan and their eligible beneficiaries. Plan members include all employees of the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department. The fund is managed and administered by the board of trustees consisting of five members, two of whom are residents of the city appointed by the city commission, and two of whom must be full-time firefighters elected by the firefighters who are members of the plan. The fifth member must be chosen by the previous four members.
