American General Life and Accident Insurance Company (AGLA) was an insurance company based in Nashville, Tennessee. As of December 2013, the company was acquired by American General Life Insurance Company. Established in 1900 as The National Sick and Accident Association of Nashville, the name was changed to American General Life and Accident Insurance Company in 1984.
