Dartmouth's Technology Transfer Office oversees the patenting and licensing of inventions originated in the College and its professional schools. Industrially sponsored research agreements, including SBIRs and STTRs, material transfer agreements, State business assistance programs, and various other issues concerning academic collaborations with industry, also come under TTO's purview. In the fiscal year of 2011, the TTO handled 122 active license and option agreements, one of which was to local start up company ImmuNext.
