Shamir Karkal

Shamir Karkal is a Co-Founder, Advisor and Board Member of Simple Finance Technology. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Sila. He was Chief Financial Officer at Simple Finance Technology. He specializes in strategy consulting for financial institutions. Most recently he worked at McKinsey & Company where he advised banking and payments clients in Europe, the Middle East and the US on topics including risk management, portfolio strategy, market entry strategy, cross-sell, and operational excellence. He started his career back in India, in information technology. He has a BSc. in computer science, an MSc. in information technology, and an MBA(Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University.
