Saba Malak

Saba Malak serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at CytImmune Sciences. He served as the Board Member at Advanced Practice Strategies. Saba is a private investor in public and private equities, focusing on biopharma, healthcare IT, and medtech companies. He led APS' first funding round in 2007 at which time he joined the Board of Directors. He is also an angel investor and advisor to start-ups in the medical device and mobile health fields. He was previously a Managing Director with Putnam Investments where he focused on investments in technology stocks. At Putnam, he was a technology PM/analyst in the Growth group, Leader of the Technology Team in Global Equity Research, and Lead PM for the firm's Technology Fund. He also served as an analyst covering hardware, telecommunications equipment, and semiconductor stocks. He was ranked among the top 20 top fund managers and analysts in the Reuters Large Company Survey. Prior to Putnam, Saba was a Principal with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Boston and London. At BCG, he led teams of consultants, advising clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare services, and telecommunications industries in corporate and business strategy and operations. Saba holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Tufts University, where he was elected to Tau Beta Pi, a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
