Minh Tran

Minh is the General Partner of AXA Strategic Ventures based in Paris. Minh currently is the Chairman of the Board in FundShop, Particeep, LifeSavin, Widmee, FlyR International and ClimateSecure. Minh started his career in Asia from 1993 to 1999 before moving to New-York in 2001 with Bertelsmann Ventures investing in media and entertainment. In 2004, he joined Nokia Ventures in Finland to look at investments around mobile services then ran EMEA, LATAM and APAC operations for one portfolio company. More recently, he was an entrepreneur in a VC backed mobile media startup present in the US and Europe. Also, he worked as a Venture Partner at Truffle Capital, an European venture capital firm, where he led investments in Utel (mobile and web services) and PayTop (internet and mobile payments). Minh also created and managed incubator funds like AXA Seed Factory (now renamed AXA Factory) and SoLoMoCo. He graduated from INSEAD in 2000.
